Oh, Oh. que nós realmente think on you tonight, Lord. It'd be a service that would glorify you, that honor you. We love you. Amen.
Tonight, you're going to have to remember the words because we don't have the words on the wall. So, hopefully, you remember some of them. They say no man's an island, but I pretend to disagree.
I guess they've never seen my island wearing lies and seen.
Lost inside my memory,
still in disbelief.
If I could paint a picture for you, this is what you see.
I'm down on my knees, banging you to rescue me. I'll be stubborn, don't let me run.
Surround me, surround me now. surround me.
Can you look into my eyes and say you won't betray me? Run it out of time, and the precious time can be. Run it out of time, and the precious time can be. I'm down on my knees, begging you to rescue me. Please stop me, don't let me run. Surround me, surround me. I'm down on my knees, begging you to rescue me. Please stop me, don't let me run. Surround me, surround me now. Surround me now. Surround me now. Surround me now.
Surround me now. Surround me now. Surround me now. I'm down on my knees, begging you to rescue me. Now please stop me, don't let me run. Surround me. You came to this earth that you lived as a man when you didn't have to. You lived the life of perfection. God, waiting to become the sacrificial lamb to die in our place, to die on our cross. God, we do love you. We do want the world to know how much that we love you, that a love for you is something that we hide, that we pretend isn't there, but that we truly do desire to be closer to you, to be more intimate with you, to live for you, to give our lives for you. For you to die for you, if we'd have that privilege.
Thank you, God, that you give us the opportunity to be your friend, to walk with you, to know you, to hear your voice. Tonight, God, that you would fill this place, God, with your presence. Fill this place, Lord, with a feeling of knowledge of your love that we know, that we're loved by you. God, that we feel your presence here tonight, Lord. I want you to sound dry and service with somebody talking, but that there'd be something supernatural to it. That there'd be something that would go beyond the natural, beyond just words or songs. But that you would be present here, Lord God. Love you, Lord. Love you, Lord. Love you.

Oh, yeah Hmm I'm a real singer No No I dreamed of being a real singer one day Did you guys ever want to, like, be a singer in a rock band? Like, in a band. Did anyone be a singer? No. Nunca queria ser vocalista de uma banda de rock No. That's still my dream. Eu ainda quero ser. Eu espero. Não, não é? Eu estou muito old. Talvez não. Some of those Mick Jagger são 60. Ele é um homem. Eu estou muito bem. Ok. Agora, ok, nós estamos falando muito sobre a verdade. A verdadeira, você está entendendo a verdadeira. Então, o que nós vamos fazer é deixar o filosofical side de verdade e vamos fazer. Vamos. truth important in even our
relationships and our friendships. And tonight, I'm going to run with the English. We're going to go with the English. If I say something you don't understand, just go like this or say, hold on, wait, stop. I didn't get that. And we're going to see how far we can go just with the English tonight. See if it starts sinking in. You're going to walk out of here tonight going, dang, I'm fluent. I can move to the United States and I'll do okay. Or England or wherever else they talk. English. So what we're going to talk about is truth on a personal level. Where we live at. And so what I wanted to start asking you guys, do you guys have friends?
You have friends? You do? No. You have no friends?
Friends. You have friends? Yes. Oh good. It's good to have friends. You guys are friends. Yes.
Yeah. How do you like that? You sit next to them. Do you have friends? No. I'm right next to you. Nice. Huh? You have to talk to them later because you thought he was your friend. But well, the things we find out later on, we go, oh, didn't even know it. I thought he was my friend. So you have friends though, right? With your friends, are you always truthful? Do you know what truthful? truthful?
Fala verdade. Dispressa a verdade. Sempre mostra a verdade. Truthful. Truthful. Truthful is one of those words that's terrible to try and say. Try and say truthful.
Truthful. That's one of the worst words in English for somebody learning English from the Portuguese to English because the tongue just doesn't do it. But you'll get it. You've got to sit there at home and you've got to go, truthful. Truthful. Truthful. And so truthfully, you just keep saying truthful, truthful, until you get your pants wet because you're like babando, you know, you're drooling on your pants trying to say it, but you'll get it. So, are you always, are you truthful with your friends? Do you tell your friends the truth? Always. Most of the time. Always. Most of the time. How about this?
A lot of people don't like to hear the truth. Most of us don't, especially if the truth is bad. Like, you look at Elias and say, Elias, you're my friend, but you have really bad breath.
He has bad breath. He needs hauls. Oh, he needs, um, icy kiss. He needs something to help his breath be better. Have you ever, have you ever been talking to somebody and their breath is really, you don't have bad breath, just so you know. But, you remember like talking to somebody and they're talking and they have that bad breath and they go, hi. You go, huh. Yeah? Did you tell the person to say, oh man, your breath is really bad. Or did you just sit there and keep talking? Oh, hi, how are you? And you're crying because his breath is so bad it's making your eyes water. does that happen? You guys are pastors. You guys are in church.
You talk, you have a friend who has bad breath.
Okay, do you tell them? No, then you're not honest with them. Yeah, you don't, see, that's what we want to talk about is the truthfulness in friendship. Why, if we're going to have a real friendship, why truth has to be there, has to exist. We have to have truth. You know, if his feet stink, he has, your feet stink. You have, um, Shule. but, you know, have you ever had a friend at Shule? A bad, stinky feet? You don't. Oh, good. That's a good thing because stinky feet is a bad thing. But, do you tell the person, your feet stink?
Usually, a wife will, your wife will tell you. Well, it depends on who it is, huh? Right. If it's your wife, your wife will tell you, you have stinky feet. Go wash your feet. You're not getting in this bed with those feet. Right? And so, or how about you're wrong? You ever tell a friend, you're wrong? You are wrong. You are in sin. That's hard. That's hard. But, are your friends sometimes wrong? Is Elias sometimes wrong? Sometimes? You think so. Would you tell him? You're wrong. No. No. Oh my goodness. How about this? Have you ever lied to a friend? You told a lie to your friend to maybe not hurt his feelings or to
avoid an argument or because you didn't or you knew he'd get mad. Do you have friends that if you tell them the truth they get mad at you? Have you ever told someone the truth and they got mad at you? Who do you think you are? You're not God. You're not perfect. And they start yelling at you. and it's like, huh? God, maybe I shouldn't have told them the truth. You know, sometimes we lie because we don't want to argue or we don't want to make them mad or we don't want to hurt their feelings. You tell them the truth and they cry. They feel so bad because, you know, you told them the truth but it's the truth. So, do you think
that it's true friendship if you lie to somebody? If you're always lying to them. you never tell them the truth because you don't want to hurt their feelings or you don't want to make them mad. Is that true friendship? Because they're talking about truth. And everything we've been talking about is truth. And if you're not telling someone the truth in your relationship, in your friendship, is it a true friendship? Right.
You're right. It's not. It's not. It is not a true friendship. If you can't be honest with somebody, se você sempre tem que mentir para manter o relacionamento, a sua amizade não é verdadeira. It's a lie. And so, what we want to get to is recognizing that it's not true friendship if you have to lie in order to maintain the friendship. If the only way you can stay friends is by lying or not telling the truth, then it's not a real friendship. Because true friendship consists of being able to be truthful about who you are. You know, I'm this way and that way and I have this problem, I have that problem. and them being able to be truthful
about who they are and still having a friendship in that. Because a lot of us live with, Hi!
How are you? You're fine. Oh, good. I'm good. You're fine.
So anyhow, a lot of us live with masks. Mashkeras. We show people somebody that we're not. We pretend to be more holy. We pretend to be more godly. We pretend to be something we're not because we're trying to be friends with them. We're trying to be what they think or what we think they want. and they're doing the same thing. So a lot of times you have relationships with people and both people are lying. Both sides. Both persons are lying. This one's lying to this person. This one's lying to this person. And they have a great friendship. But it's a lie. Because if I don't know who you are, if I don't know the bad things about your life,
if you don't know the bad things about my life and we still have a friendship, then it's really false. It's very shallow. It's not anything like a great friendship. And really, the world is full of friendships like that. It's really a rare thing when you have a real friendship with somebody who knows everything wrong with you and they still like you. And you know everything wrong with them and you still like them. and that's when you have a real friendship because it's truth. There's truth involved in it. The truth becomes a central part of the friendship. I can tell you my problems. Is it easy for you to tell your friends your problems?
To go see a friend and say, I have this problem. Or is that hard? Usually it's hard because we don't really want people to know what our problems are. We try to hide our problems. We try to pretend, oh, I don't have any problems. Like in Brazil, to the bane? To the bane. And a lot of times, it's not to the bane. It's to the win. But nobody says that. We just, we tell what we think people want to hear. We lie to them. So, have you ever had hard times in your life? Like a difficult time? Things were just, everything was bad. Just bad. And did your friends leave you or did they stay with you? Did you ever have friends that left you?
I remember when I was, when I was 18, I started to drink. Drinking beer and drinking whiskey and drinking, there'd be the, and I had a problem with drinking. and I got to a point where I wasn't controlling my drinking and then I had no friends. All of my friends, my, my friends who said they were my friends, they left me when I had a problem. They came and they said to me, you have a problem and we don't want to be around your problem and so we're not going to, you know, be around. And so I had, then I had no friends and I found out that my friends weren't my friends. No, a lot of, a lot of our friends aren't really friends.
They're just people that we have around us and, but we're in right when you need them, when you really need them, they leave you. So is that friendship? No. No.
A friend for me. We're going to get there. I'm going to show you what a, what a real friend is. Yeah. Because the truth, the truth of the matter is that we call, we call a lot of people our friends. out of a necessity, a need in us to think that people care about us. We, we, everybody's my friend because we want to think everyone cares about us, but most people don't care anything about us. They care about themselves. So we need to first realize that a friendship without truth is not a true friendship. Proverbs 27, 6, Proverbs 27, 6, says, says, wounds, no, feridas, wounds from a friend can be trusted. But an enemy
multiplies kisses.
So, if a friend hurts you, we can trust that. It's really, it's a weird way of thinking. But an enemy will kiss you a lot. I don't really want to be kissed by any enemies, but I just want to be kissed by my wife, but, you know, sometimes an enemy wants to kiss you like Judas kissed Jesus. I don't want that kind of a kiss. That's a bad kiss. So, but what does it mean if we say wounds or feridas, wounds from a friend can be trusted? What does that mean? Who likes to be wounded? Do you like to get wounded? Do you like to get hurt? Do you like feridas? Say, gosh, de feridas. The gosh de alguien fer y você. Nobody likes it.
Exactly. It comes for your good. And that's exactly what a trusted wound is. A wound that comes from a friend that we can trust. It's because they do it for our good. Because they care about us. When you, when you care about somebody, it's tempting to not tell the truth. Because you don't want to hurt their feelings because they're your friend. And you don't like to hurt your friend. but at the same time, sometimes it's necessary. Sometimes you have to say, look at man, if you keep going in this direction, you are really going to wreck your life. You know, everything is going to go bad if you don't stop. You know,
it looks okay right now, but I'm telling you, where you're going is not good. And sometimes we might be tempted to maybe shade the truth about who we are too. we kind of change a little bit who we are. When we're sad, we smile. You know, when we're mad, we tell jokes. And we try to, you know, we try to look as good as we can. We try to look like the happy, fun guy because people like that. and sometimes you, you know, don't want to offend your friend, but a faithful friend, a true friend, a friend that's based on truth, a friendship based on truth, sometimes will say something to you that hurts because they love you,
which is really weird to think. But it's like with my son Jordan. Sometimes I have to spank Jordan. I have to discipline him and it hurts and he cries. But it's because I love him. It's not because I'm mad at him or because I hate him and I want, I like to watch him cry. I'm like some sicko and I go, he, he, he, my son's going to cry. No, I'm not. I don't like watching my son cry. But I know that if I spank him, if I discipline him, later on in life, it's going to help him and I'm going to, I'm going to save him from a lot of bad things in life by doing that. So when, like when you or I, when we have to talk to somebody
and say something that might hurt them, something that's going to be hard for them to hear, we have to consider, first of all, if our words are going to hurt, are we saying them in love? Are we speaking in love? Because there's, there's ways that we can come and we can go to somebody and they're doing something wrong and we can say, you're an idiot. I can't believe what you're doing. You're about the stupidest person I ever saw in my life. What are you thinking? And then, that's not love. That's somebody being rude and really not. And maybe you really feel like that, but it's not love. And a person probably is not
going to change if you talk to them like that. but if you get close to me and say, you know, what you're doing isn't really right and it's not good for you and I'm just telling you because I care about you and I don't want to see you wreck your life. And so, there's two ways that we can tell somebody the truth without being, you know, we can tell them in a way this love which would be a faithful wound, a wound that we can trust that comes from someone who loves us that's trying to protect us, that's trying to help us or it can come from somebody who's just mean. Have you ever heard someone tell you something's wrong with you
but they're just a mean person? They weren't nice about it. They just wanted to criticize you. They just wanted to say something mean. You know, you don't pray very good. You know, you're not very smart and you're not near as good looking as you think you are. you're actually kind of ugly. Something like that doesn't help you. It's just somebody being mean and that hurts and that's not a good wound and it's not a wound that comes from a friend. So when we talk to somebody as a friend, this is what a friend is. A friend is somebody who looks at you and he sees everything wrong with you but what he sees in you isn't really
what's wrong with you but he sees the potential. He sees who you can be and he's willing to stay with you and walk with you as much as you are to stay with him and see all the bad stuff in him to help each other get better. A friend isn't really a true friend if they're only there when things are easy, when it's fun, when everything's happy. A true friend is one that's there when everything is terrible, when your life is terrible and they're there and they say, you know what, even though everything wrong in your life is your fault, you're the one who did it. Everything wrong is your fault but I'm going to stay here with you.
I want to help you. I want to be your friend. I don't want to just criticize you and I'm not going to leave you just because everything is bad in your life. So a true friendship is when someone can give you those trusted wounds, those wounds that are necessary for somebody's best interest. It's what's good for them. It's what's going to help them and that's where the whole speak the truth in love comes in. You can speak the truth because like today there's the prophets in the church. There's a lot of prophets. Everybody's a prophet but a lot of these guys who are prophets don't speak in love. They're just mean and they just say things.
There's no love in them. They're not loving God and they're not loving the church. They can see like all of us you know we don't have to be a prophet to see what's wrong with the church. The church has got a lot of stuff wrong with it today but there's a way that you can confront that you can go to the church and you can confront the sin of the church and you can say everything that this here is offending God and this is going to bring judgment on you but you can say it even strong. You can say it forcefully. You can even yell but if behind that yell there's a love there's something inside of you that's saying change.
Please change. So there's a love there but most of the people you see today who say that they're a prophet aren't prophets. They're just people with big mouths that just want to talk a lot and they get up and they say thus saith the Lord but it's a lie because God didn't tell them anything and that's why I like Jeremiah or Jeremiah. Jeremiah he was cool because he like he threw some rocks. He had a hard word but when Jeremiah got done dumping on the people he cried and he went and he sought God and he cried and he said God change these people and he cried to the people please change but the words that Jeremiah preached
they were hard but it was the truth and love it wasn't just him wanting to just say something just to vent I can't take it anymore I'm just going to yell at all of you because I can't stand it and that's not love and that's not what God's looking for and that's not true friendship. Have you ever had a friend do that to you? One of your friends kind of explode on you comes to your house and it's whoa what was that? Yeah okay good you're one of the ones that can leave me if you want you don't have to be my friend bye sorry I was just closing the door right in your face but so that's that's the thing speaking the truth
in love means saying something to someone that needs to be said for their benefit you're saying it to help them or to protect them but you're saying it in a way that says I care I care about you I'm not criticizing you I care about you that's why it comes back to wounds from a friend can be trusted but an enemy multiplies kisses and so my question then becomes this can it be real love if there's no truth no it can't be it can't be love without truth is not true love who's married are you married you're married are you married you used to be are you married you're gonna get married entendeu you're gonna get married
you're gonna get married Juninho um dia vai casar no nome de Jesus hallelujah e João João vai casar antes de Juninho porque Juninho quer ser titio mas but in a marriage in a marriage relationship you really see the the need for a real friendship you have your wife has to be your friend or your husband has to be your friend because if there's no friendship there it just doesn't work and a lot of times you can speak truth in a marriage to somebody but it's without love it's just it's just being mean it's just saying you know I don't like you because you're an idiot and or I don't know what people say you know you don't wash
the dishes right or you put the toilet paper on upside down did you know that people fight over that about the toilet you know toilet paper right papillogenical people fight about whether the papillogenical or the toilet paper should come from the top or from the bottom I like it from the top from the bottom it's kind of hard sometimes you can't find it you're trying to wipe your butt and you can't find the toilet paper and it just it's not a good thing because then your your poop starts drying on your butt you know what I'm saying right so you like that one huh there is a side of the toilet paper no the side that it comes out
it comes from the top or comes from the bottom whatever not what no no no my friend whatever nothing this this is important these are important things about marriage where does the toilet paper come from and I've seen I've seen couples married couples fighting wanting to get a divorce because of the toilet paper because in her house her mother always had it coming from the bottom but in his house his mom always had it coming from the top oh you've had that fight in your house too see now you're seeing you don't care you just grab the toilet paper and use it either way you don't even use toilet paper you're like Jordan
Jordan's latest thing I'll just tell you this real quick is sometimes he poops and he doesn't want to wipe his butt so he takes a shower so he can just wash his butt in the shower and I said don't do that because you'll do that and you'll leave little pieces of poop in our shower and I don't want to get in my shower with poop on the floor so quit being lazy and wipe your butt so these are important things but that's the truth so we speak the truth I don't want to step in poop so that's the truth but you see in a marriage or in ministry in a church how important truth is how many churches fall apart or split because people
weren't being honest they didn't tell the truth to somebody that said oh that's a good idea and then tell everyone else it's a bad idea the guy what is he thinking and then he finds out later that you told everybody that his idea was bad and then he says can we talk sure what's going on well you told me that you thought my idea was good and everybody is telling me that you said my idea is bad and that I'm really stupid what's that all about oh no you know I wasn't really meaning stupid like stupid I was kind of meaning like stupid in a good way there is no good way to be stupid no it wasn't like that have that ever
happened anybody here have you ever got caught being the person saying it that's even worse it's bad when someone is saying stuff about you what's even worse if you're the person guilty who is doing it and somebody finds out you're talking bad about it that's terrible that's like so but that's that's why why truth and a relationship truth and friendships is so important because if we're not being truthful with each other it's really not anything it's not real friendship I need I need friends who are going to be around me who are going to watch my life and see if there's things wrong in it because I'm not really a good
judge of who I am I when I look in the mirror I'm perfect right I don't I don't see a lot I see all your errors everything you do wrong I can see it's easy have you ever noticed that too it's really easy to see other people's !
and so for that we need friends around us that we trust friends that we know love us that care about us that will speak the truth to us that will call us and say Elias can we talk you know I noticed a couple of things you know I'm not criticizing you but I just wanted to mention this because maybe you're not seeing it in your life but these things you know could hurt you these things can ruin your life and that's what we need I need people to come to me and say Jeff can I talk to you you know something you're cool and everything and you're really good looking and you know all the but you know what sometimes when you
talk to people you scare them because you speak the truth so hard that people get scared of you sometimes it hurts people and you're not meaning to but maybe you could be careful about how you address maybe you don't have to tell everybody they're stupid or you don't have to call everybody donkeys or you know you can maybe say a nicer thing like in the new word on our site you know on our website we have a new word on there called velozes y furiosos the last phrase I talk about pirataria the pirating you know stealing CDs so everything is pirataria the last phrase I will speak in Portuguese because it's in Portuguese
I know many don't agree with me this subject so good lunch I hope I paint fresh you know I'm talking about burros you agree with me you are burro he could be offended by that but I don't care because it's the truth and that's that's how I am so sometimes people go you know but I need that I don't need everybody saying oh you're wonderful oh you're great oh I already know that and so I need I need somebody to come tell me the truth I need somebody to come tell me you know you're not so wonderful I don't need it all the time maybe once a year someone could tell me I don't really want some I don't want the kind of friend
that's there every day that's calling me up every day oh I found something else wrong with you I think I'd hang up but because sometimes you have you ever had a friend like that too all he did was criticize all he saw was everything wrong in your life and it's like you get to a point it's like is there anything you like about me why are you even my friend and sometimes in marriages it's like that in marriages it gets it gets to a point where you only see what's wrong with the other person and that's when it gets dangerous and you're just always saying you do this wrong you do that wrong or you hear that and a lot of times
in marriages husbands say that all all I hear is what's wrong with me and sometimes the husband looks at his wife and says is there anything you like about me and sometimes her husband says is there anything I do right because all you do is criticize me and those aren't the kind we're not talking about that kind of a an extreme truthfulness going back the real friendship based on truth is where I say the truth to you because I care about you and I want to help you and I want you to tell me the truth and I want you to help me so that's why the Bible says that wounds from a friend can be trusted because we know that
he's telling us that thing that hurts us because he cares about us but never trust the kiss of an enemy never we use the word friend the wrong way we use the word love the wrong way as you have guys all the time telling girls I love you yeah right yeah I love you sure yeah so but yeah people use but people use the word friend I think a lot of times we use the word friend because we want that person to be our friend we want that that intimacy we hope that that can be there and we feel better knowing we have a lot of friends because that makes us feel important because I have he's my friend and she's my friend and they're
my friends and I have lots of friends and so a lot of people feel like secure it's a false security because I have lots of friends and what some people feel sad is I only have one friend I don't have any friends like Jordan I have no life my son one day was at Ricardo's Jordan but Jordan was at Ricardo's place and he was playing with this cushion this chair back and forth wheels on it and Lisa finally goes Jordan stop and they could go like and he kept doing like noises Jordan sit and he sat and he crossed his arms and he got all serious and he goes I have no life he was really little when he did that but yeah some people
go I have no and to be honest I don't have that many friends I know a lot of people but there's very few people that I trust people that I would like leave my kids with you know I would travel I'd go with my wife away for a week and I'd leave my kids with them that's when you know if you trust somebody or not would you leave your kids with them would you leave your dog with them maybe your dog some people like their dogs better than like their kids so it's kind of confusing but I think most of us do have just a few friends like friends that we know you know what that person will be my friend until I die they will always be
my friend and if I'm in trouble I can call them that's when you know who your friend is too when something's bad something happens some bad thing happens and you're in trouble can you call them can you call them and say I need money wow I can't hear you it's call it's bad connection if you say something about honey I can't call back bye then you know they're not your friend but yeah but then you find out you find out actually a lot of times in life it's hard because you find out sometimes that people you thought were your friends aren't your friends when they betray you or you know and it's hard and it hurts sometimes
too have you ever had that happen you realize that that person's not your friend and you thought they were and you had like maybe years that you were you were hanging out with him you were being friends and doing things together and then in the end you found out he wasn't my friend and that's hard it's hard it's like it's probably one of the worst things that happens in life when you realize somebody who was your friend or you thought was your friend isn't a friend it really just because it hurts and then it makes you not want to be friends with anybody I I don't need any friends if that's what a friend is forget it
me and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and God and the four of us are going to hang out and maybe my dog friendship is what we're bringing the truth we've been talking about truth what truth is because if we understand what truth is we can bring it down to this level where we live and amongst us we know what being truthful is. Truthful is an absolute thing and if I'm going to be truthful with you, I have to be honest with you. But yeah, there's some times where you don't have to say something. You don't have to tell somebody their breath stinks just because you're their friend. Sometimes a friendship doesn't say their breath stinks.
Sometimes a person ate an onion or garlic, alu, and they ate alu before you got the garlic and they just have bad breath. But you don't have to tell them that. It's not like you're a bad friend now because you didn't tell them. It's okay sometimes to not tell somebody that they have bad breath or you don't like their shirt. Maybe you don't like my shirt. You don't have to tell me. I don't care. You can go to an extreme with being honest with somebody and nobody will want to be your friend because all you do is tell them the truth. Sometimes you can just be quiet. Like my mom said, if you don't have something nice to say,
don't say anything at all. And it's a good rule to live by because sometimes being truthful about something really doesn't matter. It's not going to change their life. If it's not going to help them, what's the point? but if they're going to an interview, an entrevista for a job and they have bafo de audio, as a friend you might want to tell them. You might want to say, dude, go brush your teeth, man, because or buy some hauls or some mints because if he gets there to do the job interview and he says, hi, I go, next.
And next, this is over. That was a great interview. Goodbye. But when you just talk, you might have to say, you got really bad breath just because you're being truthful. But that's what it comes down to. Love without truth is not true love. And friendship without truth spoken in love isn't a true friendship. Okay. And that is how we're starting to bring. Next week, we're going to talk about love, going in the love direction, love and tolerance. You know what tolerance is? Toleranza. Because a lot of times today now people say we're tolerating that because we love them. So now all of a sudden proof of love is tolerance.
Huh? Yeah. So we're going to talk about and next, next week we're going to talk about loving because a lot of times we can't tolerate sin in someone's life because we love them. It doesn't make sense. But that's what the world tells us today. If you love somebody, you'll be tolerant of them and you'll, you'll tolerate what's wrong in their life. But that's not really, not true. So we're going to look at why and how we can love somebody and be tolerant or not tolerant. And so that's, that's next week. so you have to come back next week. I already told you. It's kind of like a trailer. I give you the trailer but you can't watch the movie
until next week. So, okay. Lord, we thank you for another night, God, that we can just come and just talk as friends. God, I thank you for the friends that I do have. I thank you for the friendships that are being made here. God, amongst us that we can sit and we can talk and talk in English and make new friendships, God, and make new friends. God, help us to be true friends to other people to the point of risking our friendship to save them, Lord God. I know a lot of times I've been guilty of being quiet, trying to avoid a fight or an argument or making somebody upset. But God, help me to care enough about somebody
to tell them the truth and help me to be a friend enough to hear the truth when somebody comes to me with something wrong with me, Lord. We just pray, bless the rest of tonight, Lord, and we just love you. Amen.
